Elton Mulenga, better known by his stage name as Yo Maps, is a man who needs no introduction because his talent speaks for itself. He is Zambia’s multi-award winning artist, performer and songwriter.
Back in 2016 Yo Maps mingled with DRIMZ on a song titled “Njikata Kukuboko,” which became a huge success in his home Kabwe. He later on released other songs such as “Doctor Wandi” with Jae Cash, “Mama,” “My Marita,” “Shake It,” “Tulepwishanya,” “Jemax,” and “Kontolola” with Kaladoshas, which brought him onto the music scene in Kabwe.Years later, in 2018, Macky 2 was featured on Yo Maps’s smash hit single “Finally,” which propelled him to fame in the music business. Before the song was unleashed Macky 2 made a prediction on his facebook page about “Yo Maps” becoming a mainstream artist.
The “Finally ” song made Yo Maps more popular and the most trending musician. His popularity increased, and he is now a multiple award-winning artist.
Throughout his career, his music has garnered some nominations and accolades. The list is as follows:

At the 8th Annual African Entertainment Awards (AEA) in the United States of America, he was also nominated in the category of “best Male” artist among some of the biggest African superstars, including Davido, Wizkid, and Diamond Platinumz.
He was also appointed to represent on behalf of Mosi Lager,to collect an award that was given out in Rome at the Monde Selection International Quality Awards.
After his contract with Kalandanya Music Promotions expired, Yo Maps. signed a two-year album contract with Nexus Music. Where he worked on couple of projects like; Mr Romantic , Location, Tilipo And many more.
He is a Bola Bet Company’s current brand ambassador,were he collaborate with the betting company on a variety of marketing initiatives.
Yo Maps became the first musician from Zambia whose album “Komando” received more than 30 million streams on Boomplay music, the continent’s most popular streaming service.
